Sholay’s biggest mistake revealed

‘Sholay’ – one of the best movies of the century produced in Indian Cinema still remains close to our hearts. Recently the entire Hindi film industry celebrated 35 years of Sholay for its grand making and fantabulous star-casts. Perhaps, it’s a shocking surprise to unravel one minute mistake of this movie.
Even for those, who haven’t watched film ‘Sholay’, the character of Thakur (played by Sanjeev Kumar) is more of a familiarity. During one of the scenes, Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan) cuts off Thakur’s hands and in retaliation, he takes revenge with the help of Jai and Veeru (Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra). Thakur manages to finish off Gabbar Singh with his legs alone,
But what’s so surprising is that we have found some images of this fight sequence, in which the hands of Sanjeev Kumar are visible.
Having made a fantastic film, Ramesh Sippy seems to have dropped the ball with a small mistake, isn’t?
