Ajay Devgan may step into the villain’s shoes once again for filmmaker Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish 2 (sequel). Having played a gangster in his last film Once Upon A Time in Mumbai (2010), it shouldn’t be so hard for the actor to pull off a mean character.
A source close to the actor reveals, ‘the role is of an ultra cool, stylish person with gray shades. The character is intelligent, edgy, witty and evil, inspired from the Joker’s character in the Batman Series.’ Devgan and the Roshan’s (both Rakesh and Hrithik) have wanted to collaborate on a project for a while now.
But all said and done, the actor is yet to sign the dotted line. Nevertheless Devgan said in an interview, ‘It’s a fabulous role and in films like this one and the Dhoom series, the grey roles get more buzz and interest than the hero’s role. A few details are being worked out.’ The film will be ready to go on the floors by mid June.
With Katrina hopping onto the Krrish 2 bandwagon, we wonder if Ajay will be able to resist for too long.
