With most of the recent Bollywood releases turning out to be mere disappointments, Yash Raj Films’ ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ is generating huge waves at the box office. The rom-com starring newcomer Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in lead roles was released on Dec 10, 2010 and witnessed grand opening. It’s been 13 weeks and yet the film is drawing more crowds and the film has been re-released in many theatres as well due to popular demand.
It is worth mentioning that only few films that released in 2010 managed to cross 75 days that includes Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’.
With just few days left for the BBB to complete 100 days, Bittoo and Shruthi are doing a laudable business in theatres.
