After his Malayalam debut in Athisayan some years ago, Jackie Shroff is back in Malayalam cinema. He is playing an important character in Platform Number One, directed by Nizar.The shoot of the film started at Kozhikode recently.
Speaking to the press at Kozhikode on Friday, Jackie Shroff said that he would like to act with Mohnalal and Mammooty, if he gets good roles in Malayalam. Jackie has completed 170 films in his career and has worked in three South Indian languages.
Shroff appears in the role of Mahendran, in Platform Number One, who searches for his lover after he is released from prison. During the journey, Mahendran meets a man at the railway station and it gives a turn to the story.Under the banner of Shah Productions, Sharafuddin Shah is producing the film.
The main cast includes debutant Anis Khani, Shah, Innocent, Suraj, Jagathy, Guinness Pakru, Narayanan Kutty, Premlal, Swetha Menon, Dhanya Mary Varghese and others.
