Vidya Balan in new commercial ad with Bengali band: Taking her association with Bengal forward, actress Vidya Balan has now tied up with popular Bengali band Chandrabindoo for a new television commercial. The rock band's new track Jaani Naa from their first album Aar Jani Na has been used in Nihar Naturals oil advertisement, where Vidya plays a Bengali housewife.

The 33-year-old Bollywood actress, who made her acting debut with Bengali film Bhalo Theko in 2003, is also the hair oil's brand ambassador. The Kerala-born Vidya, who has always considered West Bengal to be her second home, has also sang two lines in the advertisement.

"The Bengali woman has always been very intelligent and progressive in her thinking. She can see through it when brands try to sell tall promises to her.
