Rajinikanth works his appeal on healing center patients

The doctors at St. Isabel Hospital in Mylapore have removed phlegm from Rajini’s chest and he has been feeling a lot better. So instead of just dozing all the time, Rajini has been meeting other patients and enquiring about their health.

Doctors say even the sickest of patients have smiled after meeting Rajinikanth. “He is full of energy and his health condition isn’t stopping him from thinking about the others,” a doctor is quoted as saying.

Rajinikanth was hospitalised on Wednesday last week. The superstar’s health has been out of sorts ever since he began filming his next movie Rana on April 29. On the inaugural day of the shoot, he was hospitalized briefly and was advised total rest for a few days. But Rajini returned to work only to make his health worse and was hospitalised again. Rajnikanth agrees but withdraws

Smash Telugu hit, Magadheera starring Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal is to be released in Tamil as Maaveeran. The production house, Geetha Arts and Superstar Rajinikanth share an association that goes back a long way. So the makers invited the great man as the guest of honor for the grand music launch that was scheduled to take place in Chennai with Telugu luminaries such as Megastar Chiranjeevi and Allu Arjun. Rajinikanth agreed to grace the occasion but had to pull out at the last minute.
Apparently, the Superstar wishes to maintain a low profile after the controversy that sprang up during elections, when television channels were said to have captured the lucky party that got his vote. It is being claimed that the election commissioner might order re-polling at this booth. Since he is in the eye of the storm, he felt that he should withdraw.
We hope things go smoothly for all concerned parties.

Controversy Over Who Rajinikanth Voted For

There are few public personalities that Tamil Nadu loves as much as actor Rajinikanth.

So who he voted for in yesterday's election has become a hot topic. Especially because television cameras that followed him into the polling booth seemed to capture his hand hovering near the two-leaves election symbol of Jayalalithaa's AIADMK.

That may have led to some uneasy conversation a few hours later when Rajinikanth sat next to DMK Chief M Karunanidhi at a screening of new film Ponnar Shankar. Mr Karunanidhi hopes to return as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The period film is based on the novel written by him by the same name.

In 1996, Rajinikanth had famously declared "Even God can't save Tamil Nadu if Jayalalithaa is elected to power". The DMK won that election. The superstar later made up with Jayalalithaa and she attended his daughter's wedding in Chennai in November 2004.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Hospitality Needs No Introduction

Superstar Rajinikanth’s hospitality needs no introduction. The top actor would always give his guests special treatment, perhaps having in mind the popular adage ’Athithi Devo Bhava…’
Of late, we hear that the Superstar is gifting those visiting his house a small figurine of him, with the words ’Un Vaazhkai Un Kaiyyil’ (a dialogue from ’Baadsha’) craved on it.
"Also, he would give a figurine of his ‘Rajathi Raja’ still to children and youngsters visiting him. The gifts Rajini give would differ, based on the age and nature of the visitors.
But they would no doubt inspire him in some way or the other," sources close to the ’Thalaivar’ say.

The director who has managed this feat is none other than the veteran K.Balachander who has made several movies with the two stalwarts together.
